34 people have been shot and killed by police this year

Two men died in hospital after being shot by police in Central Trinidad last night.


While one of the men remains unidentied, the second is Beresford Asoon, a known car thief from Sangre Grande, police said.


Their deaths bring to 34 the number of victims of fatal police shooting in 2014.
