ORTIZ: Althea (nee Joseph) left us peacefully on 19 March 2013 after a brief illness in New Jersey, USA. Beloved wife of George Ortiz, devoted mother of Teresa and Charles. Daughter of Raphael and Gladys Joseph (both deceased). Sister of Dr. Ken La Roche (deceased), Sr. Teresa Bridgette (deceased), Kelvin Joseph (deceased), Gerard Joseph (deceased), Janette Amow and Cynthia Achue. Sister-in-law of Toddy La Roche, Angela Joseph (deceased), Esmee Joseph (deceased), Henry Amow (deceased), Allowsing Achue, Marina Martin, Liz Ortiz Allard, Joyce DeFreitas, Virginia Ortiz, Ramon Ortiz and Eugene Ortiz. Funeral for our beloved Althea took place on Monday 25 March, 2013 at 10:30am at St.Mary's Chapel, Middletown, NJ followed by a private cremation.
