Kun­jal said she was tired of hear­ing de­press­ing songs, and one of her main in­ten­tions was to use her mu­sic sole­ly to up­lift the moods and spir­its of her lis­ten­ers. "I am about good vibes and you have to feel good to en­joy your­selves. I think that is what the peo­ple want," she said, adding that the song has al­so gen­er­at­ed a great deal of in­ter­na­tion­al sup­port. She ac­knowl­edged, how­ev­er, that her ac­com­plish­ments have made her a role mod­el for her peers, and urged them to work dili­gent­ly to­wards achiev­ing their goals. "Noth­ing good comes eas­i­ly and you have to be able to take crit­i­cism and ad­vice along the way," she said. "You don't have to be per­fect, but if you love some­thing, you have to work hard to­wards it."
