If there is one event Arim­i­ans look for­ward to when it comes to a par­ty dur­ing the Car­ni­val sea­son is Kabu­ki's So­ca Stew. The Dutch par­ty has in­creased in pa­tron­age over the years and the Sun­day 6 edi­tion showed the event re­mains ex­treme­ly pop­u­lar. Held at Kabu­ki's res­i­dence in Net­toville, Ari­ma, scores came out from as ear­ly as 7 pm for the jam ses­sion.

It was the first taste of Car­ni­val in the east­ern Bor­ough and may ar­guably be count­ed as the best for the sea­son in the area. For those who may be won­der­ing which song was played the most on the night, Machel Mon­tano's Bend Ova and Kees Di­ef­fen­thaller's Wot­less were played five times each. Ben­jai's Tri­ni and Wine to the Side were played four times; but Cassie's Town Ting was played a whop­ping eight times.
