Why did I get Married? goes to Cipriani College

Fresh from playing to sold out houses at Naparima Bowl in San Fernando, the blockbuster play Why Did I get Married? comes north this week to the CLR James Auditorium, Cipriani College of Labour, situated on Churchill Roosevelt Highway (next to Nestle,) in Valsayn.Staged by Raymond Choo Kong Productions, this laugh-a-minute play tells the epic tale of four couples—Garvin and Patricia played by Mark Nottingham and Caroline Taylor; Terry and Dianne played by Kearn Samuel and Jeanine Lee Kim; Angela and Marcus played by Abeo Jackson and Arnold Goindhan; and, Shelia and Mike played by Rachael Bascombe and Raymond Choo Kong.
Based on the hit Tyler Perry movie of the same name, the cast also stars Carnella Barkley as the resident brass-faced outside woman; the slightly psychotic “child mother” played by Kimberly Crichton; as well as the knight in shining armour, in this case a six-foot-something strapping Tobago hunk, played by Christopher Smith. The production premieres at Cipriani College tonight and runs until Sunday. Showtime for today until Friday is 9 pm, and 5.30 pm and 8.30 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
