Life can be fun with girls on the side…if you’re single! If you’re not, look but don’t touch! The producers of Mary Could Dance, Men Are Dogs, Love Thy Neighbour, and most recently The Prime Minister’s Speech are at it again. The new hilarious, warm and sometimes scandalous comedy, Girls on The Side, by Norm Foster, will premiere at the CLR James Auditorium, Cipriani College, to a spectacular gala on May 26, and runs until May 29. Girls on the Side takes a hilarious look at a wild weekend in Tobago, where two brothers, one married and one soon to be married, get involved with two sisters, one wild and one recently back on the dating scene.

What transpires as the weekend unfolds from the temptations of sex, to revelations of secrets and confrontations, will take an audience on a crazy, laughter-filled and emotional ride that will make an unforgettable night at the theatre. The production is the latest from RR/RS Productions, and is directed by Debra Boucaud Mason. It features among its stellar cast, the likes of Richard Ragoobarsingh, Nigel Auguste, Caroline Taylor and Leslie Ann Lavine, who won standing ovations for her recent role as the Prime Minister in The Prime Minister’s Speech. The box office at Cipriani College opens on May 23, from noon to 6 pm daily, and can be reached at 768-8663 or 744-7581.
