The group forms part of the Indian High Commission progamme to celebrate indian Arrival Day in Trinidad and Tobago. Some of the portrayals include: folk singing songs representing the rural communities; jhummar, which is a dance of ecstasy and the happiness of man; jindhua, a love showing dance.
