Mixed weather patterns pervading T&T last Sunday provided the ideal conditions for a Hawaiian-styled cooler fete called Mai Tai, at the O2 Park in Chaguaramas.A production of signature promotions outfit Caesar's Army, the event brought together the most gorgeous women alongside guys with hot bodies-as well as those who imagined themselves to be in a state of such physical prowess-in a rich display of fun from as early as 2 pm.The excitement that pervaded at Mai Tai seemed fated.Slotted to take place on the long weekend roster awash with thematic activities, the jefes at Caesar's Army proved they had the edge on rival promoters, citing that Mai Tai was sold-out.But despite the numerous Facebook and BlackBerry messages to that effect, patrons not wanting to be left out of what eventually mushroomed into a fantastic event spent the last couple days leading up to the event trying to negotiate their admission. It's not clear whether they succeeded. At the last minute, patrons still turned up at the venue-around 8 pm-when frolicking was in full swing, in hope of securing access into the oversubscribed event.Security officers at the main gate had their lines rehearsed: "Let me see your ticket? If you don't have a ticket, you can't get in."But for the scores of thrill-seekers gaining entry into O2 Park for the event, being elsewhere was never an option as they partied heartily in both sunshine and rain.
