The Trinidad and Tobago rock "n" roll band, jointpop, will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a special live concert at the legendary venue The Little Carib Theatre, Woodbrook, on August 20.The concert will also serve as a fund-raiser for the third jointpop UK tour, scheduled for September 7 to October 10.Jointpop will feature songs from all five albums made over the past 15 years and some special surprise guests will join the band on stage.
On September 6, the band will travel to London to start The Longest Kiss Goodnight UK Tour, and the tour will see jointpop perform in all the main music cites such as London, Bristol,Cardiff, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Dundee, Falkirk, and Leeds.Lead singer Gary Hector explains: "We wanted to put on a special concert for our 15th anniversary with some surprise guests and take a look back into our older songs and mix them in with the new ones. Then we head out on tour to the UK to promote and release our latest album The Longest Kiss Goodnight."
Pop 15 tickets are on sale at select Subway outlets (Maraval, MovieTowne, Price Plaza, Trincity and Gulf City, La Romaine); and, at The Readers Bookshop in St James.
