Cara Suites Ho­tel in Clax­ton Bay will come alive this evening as a bevy of eight gor­geous women com­petes in the Miss One­ness Trinidad and To­ba­go Pageant. The con­tes­tants will par­tic­i­pate in var­i­ous seg­ments be­gin­ning with an in­tro­duc­tion, where they will in­tro­duce them­selves and ren­der a syn­op­sis on the nat­ur­al won­der of T&T they rep­re­sent. This will be fol­lowed by a swim­suit seg­ment in which del­e­gates would mod­el a piece of their choice. Next, the women will dis­play their tal­ents and in­stead of the tra­di­tion­al evening wear they will mod­el a cock­tail wear of their choice. Fi­nal­ly their in­tel­li­gence will be test­ed in the fi­nal ques­tions seg­ment.

OETT pres­i­dent Vanes­sa Sa­ha­too-Manoo said this show promis­es to be unique in such an ex­quis­ite way as all can­di­dates would be rep­re­sent­ing the nat­ur­al won­ders of our re­pub­lic, such as Buc­coo Reef, Nar­i­va Swamp, etc. The beau­ties will vie for the chance to rep­re­sent T&T in the pres­ti­gious Miss Earth Beau­ty Pageant, sched­uled for Thai­land in No­vem­ber. Sa­ha­too-Manoo added that the cho­sen queen will show­case her tal­ent, in­tel­li­gence, grace, charm, poise and beau­ty that are tru­ly in­dica­tive of T&T's di­verse cul­tures and tra­di­tions of a mul­ti-eth­nic so­ci­ety at the No­vem­ber con­test.
