Gary Hec­tor, founder, singer, gui­tarist and pro­duc­er, to­geth­er with his Rock 'n' Roll band, cel­e­brat­ed their 15th an­niver­sary of ex­is­tence on Au­gust 20, at Lit­tle Carib The­atre, Wood­brook. Over 250 fans turned out for the oc­ca­sion.The cel­e­bra­tion was al­so a fund-rais­ing event for joint­pop's up­com­ing tour to the UK from Sep­tem­ber 8 to Oc­to­ber 13, where the coun­try's pre­miere R&R band would be per­form­ing at 20 shows across the Unit­ed King­dom specif­i­cal­ly in Eng­land, Wales and Scot­land.The an­niver­sary cel­e­bra­tion be­gan with a skit based on Gary Hec­tor ig­nor­ing fam­i­ly life and on­ly fo­cus­ing on noth­ing oth­er than R&R mu­sic. This was fol­lowed by his singing per­for­mances.The high­light of Hec­tor's per­for­mance came when he sang pop­u­lar items like Love Less Street, Mon­day Morn­ing Love Sit­u­a­tion, Souls Go­ing Cheap, and Af­ter Half Past Nine, caus­ing fans to rave, dance and sing along to the mu­sic.

The joint­pop ag­gre­ga­tion in­clud­ed Da­mon Homer (gui­tar); Phil Hill (key­board); Dion Ca­ma­cho (bass); Jerome Gird­har­ri (drums); and, Hec­tor. Hec­tor and Homer are the orig­i­nal mem­bers of joint­pop, while every­one else has been with the out­fit for at least five years each.Com­ing from sev­er­al dif­fer­ent rock bands be­fore agree­ing on work­ing to­geth­er, the mem­bers of joint­pop are very close friends, usu­al­ly per­form­ing at dif­fer­ent night spots, clubs, bars and all venues that fa­cil­i­tate rock bands.Joint­pop has a great fol­low­ing of fans lo­cal­ly and in­ter­na­tion­al­ly, us­ing Face­book and Twit­ter as me­dia of com­mu­ni­ca­tion and ad­ver­tis­ing.
