The Dig­i­cel Out­ta Con­trol Tour con­tin­ued its dri­ve to pro­vide ex­po­sure to the hid­den gems in T&T mu­sic, with a re­cent mi­ni-con­cert at J Mal­one's, Movi­eTowne Port-of-Spain. This time, pa­trons were treat­ed to in­cred­i­ble per­for­mances by 5 Miles to Mid­night and Michelle Xavier, both of whom showed their mu­si­cal ver­sa­til­i­ty through per­for­mances that ranged from so­ca to hip-hop, usu­al­ly with an in­vig­o­rat­ing rock twist. 5 Miles to Mid­night gave an en­er­getic per­for­mance that was thor­ough­ly en­joyed by the crowd. Putting their own spin on crowd favourites such Cee-Lo Green's 'For­get You' and Ed­win Year­wood/Tony Prescott's 'All Aboard', the tal­ent­ed young band had the crowd singing and danc­ing along.

Michelle Xavier joined 5 Miles on­stage for their first per­for­mance, ex­press­ing her ex­cite­ment and hopes that it would not be their last joint per­for­mance. Thank­ing the crowd for their sup­port of lo­cal mu­sic, she launched in­to a stir­ring set that left no doubt as to why rock mu­sic is her true mu­si­cal love. The Dig­i­cel Out­ta Con­trol Tour fea­tured sev­er­al lo­cal acts over the five week pe­ri­od. Artistes and bands in­clud­ed Gyazette, Neb­u­la 868, Tim Starr, Umi Mar­cano, Kin Sound Sys­tem, Zig­gy Rankin, Skid Neve­ly and Rik­ki Jai.
