Neil Massy had the full sup­port of fam­i­ly mem­bers and art lovers on Sep­tem­ber 27 when the Hori­zons Art Gallery host­ed the open­ing re­cep­tion for an ex­hi­bi­tion, In­ner Peace, show­cas­ing a new col­lec­tion of his paint­ings. A re­lease from the gallery not­ed that Massy had al­ways ap­proached art as a life les­son, and a jour­ney to self dis­cov­ery, which had brought him to this lat­est ex­hi­bi­tion of paint­ings.

Ac­cord­ing to Massy, the theme of In­ner Peace grew as the work pro­gressed, adding that his in­tent is for the ob­serv­er, in view­ing the paint­ings, to sense the deep love and con­tent­ment he finds in his sub­ject mat­ter. "I hope that in view­ing these works of art, the view­er can con­nect with their own in­ner peace and ex­pe­ri­ence that state which is be­yond words." The ex­hi­bi­tion con­tin­ues un­til Oc­to­ber 8.
