Trinbago Unified Calypsonians Organisation (Tuco) will release the third edition of its annual publication, "Kaiso" magazine within coming weeks.This 100-page glossy, full colour magazine is produced for Tuco by CyberScribe Media and is designed for the calypsonians as well as the calypso enthusiast.This 2011-2012 edition of "Kaiso" magazine looks back at the recently concluded Calypso History Month and looks ahead to Carnival 2012 and beyond.Other articles explore calypso's success on the International arena between the 30s and 60s, the 100th anniversary of Trinidad's entry into the global recording industry that takes place next year and calypso music's role in the advancement of African Peoples.
There are also interviews with veteran calypsonians, soca artistes, producers and band leaders. The magazine also offers articles on finance and investment for artiste, calypso in education, articles focusing on youth, activities for children and more."Kaiso" magazine will be available throughout T&T on news stand and magazine racks as well as the hotels, all TUCO offices and across the Caribbean, the US and London.There are still limited advertising spaces available spaces available at very attractive rates.
