The Boss, Neil “Iwer” George, left, causes a frenzy on the bmobile stage.

The 2012 National Panorama semifinals will go down in history for many reasons. However, several patrons on the northern Greens can classify that Sunday as a truly memorable one, because of their fun-filled experience of good times and undoubtedly “Trini” vibes with the bmobile crew. Amid all the other groups, crews and associations, the “green team” stood tall on the Greens and boasted large numbers which consisted of bmobile staff members, supporters and friends of the network, alongside popular party promoters and sport and entertainment personalities. More than just a mere act of corporate sponsorship, bmobile, which supports the operation of Panorama every year, injected a major dosage of the fun and culture into the northern Greens area, which over the past few years has been known as the official spot of the Panorama limers.

Members of the bmobile Pan Semis crew were able to benefit from a true Trini treat, complete with an unlimited assortment of complimentary drinks to beat the afternoon sun. These drinks were supplemented by local delicacies such as beef, chicken and veggie rotis, fried wings and geera pork. Bake and shark and beef pies were also available for those who simply desired a light snack in between the pan palancing. Most notably, bmobile erected a large stage featuring a rhythm section and music band which brought high levels of enjoyment, excitement and entertainment to onlookers between the main stage steel band sets. Total ecstasy was evident, as the massive bmobile crew, along with many members of other Pan Semis crews crowded around this stage and euphorically jumped and waved to performances by soca stars Bunji Garlin, Fay Ann Lyons, Iwer George, JW and Blaze and K Rich.
