One of the biggest and most popular shows in the world - The Annual World Laugh Festival - premieres on Friday at Guaracara Park, Pointe-a-Pierre. The show's cast includes the best comedians from India, Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago, including India's Vijai and Saldana, Barbados' Trevor Eastmond, Jamaica's Ity & Fancy Cat, Learie Joseph, Sprangalang, Tommy Joseph, Cleavas Charles, Princess Margaret, Peter Joseph, Donna Hadad, Gary Jagrup, Clifford Learmond, Louis Antoine, Damion Melville, D Komedy Circus and more. Acclaimed as "the biggest comedy show in the world," the festival generally attracts over 30,000 local and foreign patrons. This year, the event takes place for seven days, commencing on the weekend immediately following Carnival each year and the following week, and is eagerly anticipated by thousands of patrons. Promoter YMG Ltd has contracted two of the biggest Indian comedians -Vijai Nathan and Mark Saldana. Both have appeared on some of the biggest television networks which include ABC and NBC just to name a few, and have been performing to sell out concerts around the world and, in T&T, are aiming to make it no different. The promotions outfit says the comedians will be performing all new material for 2012 and tickets are $30 off for a limited time at all major outlets.
