The Bo­cas Lit-Open Mic/Per­for­mance Po­et­ry took place at the Li­brary Ar­cade on Aber­crom­by Street in Port-of-Spain. The event was spon­sored by First Cit­i­zens. The four-day ses­sion, which was host­ed by Gillian Moor and Muham­mad Muwak­il, ran from April 26 to 29 and saw ap­prox­i­mate­ly 700 peo­ple at­tend. Among the wide range of per­form­ers were Er­i­ca Mapp, Char­maine Dais­ley and Safiya Bak­sho­sein, who are no strangers to this art form.
