Fif­teen-year-old Si­ta Son­ny­lal of Bar­rack­pore emerged as the win­ner of the fourth se­mi-fi­nal round of the Chil­dren of Mas­tana last week. Son­ny­lal im­pressed the judges with her ren­di­tion of the pop­u­lar song, Satyam Shiv­am Sun­daram, orig­i­nal­ly per­formed by play­back singer Ka­ta Mangeshkar. Plac­ing sec­ond was singer Ra­jiv Mun­gal of San Fer­nan­do, while The Gowri Nan­dan Dance Group of Gas­par­il­lo placed third. The fourth prize was won by Ro­hani Sama­roo of Arou­ca and the fifth prize went to dancers Shel­don Crick and Janique Rivers of Ari­ma.

Mean­while, the fol­low­ing con­tes­tants have been se­lect­ed to ap­pear in the grand fi­nal of the Chil­dren of Mas­tana 2012 com­pe­ti­tion.
