Summer 2012 is here and Red Dragon Promotions can take credit for ushering it in with a bang. Summer Road March was the theme of the event which interestingly brought together two signature events in T&T’s Carnival: J’Ouvert and Road March. Scores of footloose and fancy free revellers converged at Pier 2, Chaguaramas, on June 15, to soak up the fun. They were uncompromising in their application of paint and they loved being hosed down. And why not? The event was made for that. Feters took delight in the revelry, likewise the opportunity to trail the roving music truck with the all-star casts of SLAM 100.5FM DJs.

Entertainers Supa Jigga TC (Terrin Callendar) and Shal Marshall (Stevenson Marshall) added to the quality entertainment. Summer Road March took place exactly one month before pretty mas’ bands across T&T officially unveil costumes that will form part of the Parade of Bands Competition for Carnival 2013. Now thanks to Red Dragon Promotions, the atmosphere is alive with anticipation for what the rest of the August vacation will have to offer.
