Patrons take in the action on the lawn of the O2 Park.

Reggae and conscious lyrics lovers basked in the afternoon sunlight into the starry night at the inaugural Reggae on the Bay at the O2 Park, Chaguramas last Sunday. Jah Melody and Marlon Asher were among the local performers who received rounds of applause for their offerings as they showed off the quality of talent. International acts—Steel Pulse and Barrington Levy were each welcomed on stage with loud cheers.

The raving got even louder when classics such as: Broader than Broadway; Here I Come; Black Roses and Be Strong from Levy and Steel Pulse’s hits: Steppin Out; Back To My Roots; Your House Lyrics entertained the audience. As patrons poured into the venue, they were greeted by sponsor’s Digicel Brand ambassadors, and were given cups, Digicel IMAX tickets and other branded items. Concert-goers were also treated to personal demonstrations by Digicel 4G experts on the possibilities with the recently launched Digicel 4G.
