Six years of consistency in the business of entertainment has made Schizophrenic Entertainment an experienced bunch in the art of hosting incomparable events. Director, Dwight Sebro told the T&T Guardian the organisation's first event for this year will be held on August 4 at the Queen's Park Oval Ballroom. The modest head of the group said the event is called Vanity Fair, and much like all other events hosted in the past, this one will be an exclusive soiree that sticks to the theme, from invitation to venue décor and certainly, dress code. In the past, Schizophrenic has hosted events at top-notch venues such as the Marriot Ballroom, the Trinidad Country Club and Prive Nightclub in south Trinidad. This time around, he said the decision was made to change things up slightly by entertaining their guests at the Oval Ballroom.
"The venue is very nice and we're sure patrons will enjoy partying there," said Sebro, adding that the event's theme will encourage those who choose to attend an opportunity to pamper themselves before their arrival. "Everybody has that personality about them. Everybody has that vain moment and that's the idea- style, class, fashion- dress up to come out," said Sebro. Over the years, the exclusivity factor has been maintained, and the events are never advertised via radio or television. Sebro explained that their events are specifically for patrons who desire a trip down memory lane and an opportunity to steer from the current radio sound trends heard at events across the country. Vanity Fair will kick off at 11 pm and goes till 4am the next day.
