Miss Universe search begins in Tobago

Popular mas band Tribe has recently taken over the franchise of the Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe and they are scouting for contestants to follow in the footsteps of Miss Universe winners Wendy Fitzwilliam and Penny Commissiong. The first casting for the Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe competition will take place on Sunday at the Magdalena Grand Beach Resort in Tobago, from 9 am to 1 pm. The Trinidad casting is scheduled to take place on September 16 and the final show is carded for October 6, 2012.
More information about these dates will be announced shortly. The Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe competition seeks to identify a national delegate from young women across Trinidad and Tobago. The winner will represent the country as an international ambassador at the Miss Universe competition which is scheduled for December 2012.
