The scope of the op­por­tu­ni­ties for lo­cal mod­els and beau­ty pageant as­pi­rants just got wider with the en­try of Fash­ionale on the cir­cuit. Head­ed up by Crys­tal De Gannes, and based in Princes Town, Fash­ionale is of­fer­ing the as­pir­ing mod­el a mix of op­por­tu­ni­ties through its mod­el­ling school, mod­el­ling agency and ex­tra-mod­el­ling ac­tiv­i­ties. Fash­ionale marks its en­trance on the fash­ion scene with the Miss Face and Fig­ure con­test on No­vem­ber 3, at the Trinidad and To­ba­go Bu­reau of Stan­dards. This con­test will not on­ly fo­cus on beau­ty, but al­so in­tel­li­gence, with el­e­ments like quizzes, de­bates and bet­ter life mod­ules.

Crys­tal De Gannes, the woman be­hind Fash­ionale has ex­ten­sive ex­pe­ri­ence mod­el­ling lo­cal­ly and abroad. She has been a spokesper­son for Fubu New York, a fi­nal­ist in the Nao­mi Camp­bell In­ter­na­tion­al Mod­el May­hem Mod­el Search and has ap­peared in sev­er­al ad­ver­tis­ing cam­paigns. De Gannes was al­so a run­way mod­el at fash­ion shows through­out the Caribbean, in­clud­ing Trinidad and To­ba­go Fash­ion Week. Apart from be­ing a mod­el, she is al­so a run­way coach, an in­spi­ra­tional speak­er as well as a host (she host­ed a doc­u­men­tary on Trinidad and To­ba­go at the World Trav­el Mar­ket in Lon­don).
