If there is one item to include in your calendar of events for the Republic Day weekend, Saturday September 22 is Jazz & BBQ hosted by LiveArt Bistro located at 5 Albion Street, Port-of-Spain, between Chancery Lane on the east and Dundonald Street on the West. Known for its mouth-watering soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts, art, music, poetry, vibe and intimacy, the Bistro is definitely the place to interact, connect and experience culture. Over the last three months LiveArt has been staging its open-mic poetry session which serves as the perfect space for our local youngsters and adults to share ideas and perform at their best.
On September 22, LiveArt Bistro would host its first Jazz & BBQ lime to kick off its Jazz series. Jazz up your day from 12.30 to 4 pm with a choice of chicken, fish or lamb served with a choice of sides and swing the evening out with some of the finest local musicians including Jeffrey Pataysingh-guitar, Patti Rogers-vocals and Joseph Singh-bass from 6 to 9 pm. Make your Republic Day weekend one that you would never forget and join us to taste, smile, dance ,clap and snap your way into Sunday feeling light.
