Mix and mingle at Spice ‘house warming’

Mas band Spice welcomed its clients and business associates to its new band house on Petra Street and Ariapita Avenue in Woodbrook, with an enlivening mix and mingle event on Friday. Dance music by DJ Merry Perry, performances from fire eaters, sumptuous cuisine as well as drinks and cocktails awaited the scores at the “house warming.”

On a night when the Ariapita Avenue was unusually quiet, Spice men and women electrified the atmosphere, so much so that motorists in the area went into cruise mood to catch a glimpse of the action. At the event, guests got another chance to view the band’s Carnival 2013 portrayal titled Let’s Dance while hobnobbing with the design team, committee members and investors in the build-up to next year’s national festival.
