A feast of food for hope

For the second year, the Consular Corps of Trinidad and Tobago will host a food festival geared at raising funds for a number of charities and environmental causes. The International Food Festival which will feature the cuisine of 35 nations takes place at the Hilton Trinidad Ballroom on October 4, under the patronage of Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar.
 
An incredibly diverse buffet menu of appetizing cuisine native to each of the 35 countries represented by the Consular Corps will be offered for guests to savour along with complimentary beverages and international cultural entertainment.
Funds raised from the International Food Festival will be donated primarily to the Children’s Life Fund, Autistic Society of T&T, Friends of Tobago AIDS Society, Down Syndrome Network, Wildlife Orphanage and Rehabilitation Centre, Operation Smile and Tobago INDO Multicultural Association.
