For the sec­ond year, the Con­sular Corps of Trinidad and To­ba­go will host a food fes­ti­val geared at rais­ing funds for a num­ber of char­i­ties and en­vi­ron­men­tal caus­es. The In­ter­na­tion­al Food Fes­ti­val which will fea­ture the cui­sine of 35 na­tions takes place at the Hilton Trinidad Ball­room on Oc­to­ber 4, un­der the pa­tron­age of Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar.

An in­cred­i­bly di­verse buf­fet menu of ap­pe­tiz­ing cui­sine na­tive to each of the 35 coun­tries rep­re­sent­ed by the Con­sular Corps will be of­fered for guests to savour along with com­pli­men­ta­ry bev­er­ages and in­ter­na­tion­al cul­tur­al en­ter­tain­ment.

Funds raised from the In­ter­na­tion­al Food Fes­ti­val will be do­nat­ed pri­mar­i­ly to the Chil­dren's Life Fund, Autis­tic So­ci­ety of T&T, Friends of To­ba­go AIDS So­ci­ety, Down Syn­drome Net­work, Wildlife Or­phan­age and Re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion Cen­tre, Op­er­a­tion Smile and To­ba­go IN­DO Mul­ti­cul­tur­al As­so­ci­a­tion.
