Popular reality shows American Idol, Dancing With The Stars and So You Think You Can Dance came together on one stage last Saturday night in Ballroom with a Twist! The song and dance ensemble show which has toured successfully in the US, was staged for the first time in the Caribbean at the Centre of Excellence.

In addition to the slick dancers, Ballroom With A Twist! also featured past American Idol finalists Gina Glocksen and David Hernandez. The expert choreography was done by professional dancer and Dancing With The Stars veteran Louis Van Amstel.

The two-hour production was promoted by popular media personality George “Big Daddy” Gonzalez and patrons commented on the professional staging, which some felt has raised the bar for other local productions.
