Pop­u­lar re­al­i­ty shows Amer­i­can Idol, Danc­ing With The Stars and So You Think You Can Dance came to­geth­er on one stage last Sat­ur­day night in Ball­room with a Twist! The song and dance en­sem­ble show which has toured suc­cess­ful­ly in the US, was staged for the first time in the Caribbean at the Cen­tre of Ex­cel­lence.

In ad­di­tion to the slick dancers, Ball­room With A Twist! al­so fea­tured past Amer­i­can Idol fi­nal­ists Gi­na Glock­sen and David Her­nan­dez. The ex­pert chore­og­ra­phy was done by pro­fes­sion­al dancer and Danc­ing With The Stars vet­er­an Louis Van Am­s­tel.

The two-hour pro­duc­tion was pro­mot­ed by pop­u­lar me­dia per­son­al­i­ty George "Big Dad­dy" Gon­za­lez and pa­trons com­ment­ed on the pro­fes­sion­al stag­ing, which some felt has raised the bar for oth­er lo­cal pro­duc­tions.
