The Noble Douglas Dance Company Inc (NDDCI) presents its 2012 dance season, Transition. NDDCI’s latest production reflects the ongoing theme of change which the company faces as it strives to maintain a small tight unit of committed dancers. In examining the theme, the NDDCI’s founder and artistic director, Noble Douglas said, “this concept alludes to the inevitable tide of change…the flux…the shift…the evolution that the company invariably faces from season to season as dancers come and go with the ebb and flow of life.”

NDDCI’s newest offering will feature the choreography of Noble Douglas, Norway-based Jeffrey Carter, Allan Balfour, Dave Williams, Arlene Frank, Malvani Seelal Alexander, Sherid Mason, and Sunil. Performing both new and old works, the company’s veterans will be joined by a cadre of young dancers to present a dynamic two days of contemporary modern dance.

The show opens on Saturday 20 October at 7.30 pm and continues on Sunday 21 October at 5.30 pm at Queen’s Hall. Tickets are priced at $150.00 and are available at Queen’s Hall box office and Crosby’s Music Centre. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Noble DouglasLilliput Foundation for the Arts (NDLFA), which launches in grand flair at a private function on Friday October 19, 2012.The Noble Douglas Dance Company Inc (NDDCI) presents its 2012 dance season, Transition.
