Rhytmic moves - Coco Dance Festival lights up stage

Coco Dance Festival, the largest annual contemporary dance festival in the Englishspeaking Caribbean, held its fourth instalment at the Little Carib Theatre recently. The Festival showcased the work of established local choreographers, such as Bridgette Wilson and Anika Marcelle, and newcomers such as Megan Navarro.
The work of tertiary- level dance communities at the University of the West Indies and the University of T&T was also given a platform. Coco Festival was hosted by the Contemporary Choreographers’ Collective, which offers performance support for choreographers working in unconventional ways in Trinidad and Tobago by providing the space to present their work.
