It was a fantastic Carnival with fantastic music, fetes and of course Fantastic Friday. Don’t worry, the bachannal continues from March 1 with the opening of the hilarious comedy, Fantastic Foursome.

Funny Farm Factory Productions and Ha Ha Ha Productions, the same comedy theatre producers that staged the 2012 hit comedy Hotmouth Granny opens their 2013 comedy theatre season at Queen’s Hall, St Ann’s, with this new romantic comedy, directed by Penelope Spencer.

A release from the producers said Granny takes a backseat in this production, for the queen of comedy, Nikki Crosby, to play the very funny role of Val.

She is an operating room nurse searching for the perfect romantic guy but ends up with Errol Fabien who plays Andy.

Fabien returns to his roots on the comedy theatre stage to play Andy, the ‘loser’.

Andy is searching for love, sex and happiness but finding that is easier said than done in today’s high tech, fast-paced Trini world.Fantastic Friday is written by Norm Foster, the same writer who penned the hit comedies, The Best Little Whorehouse in Guapo, Love Thy Neighbour, I Love You Till Somebody Better Comes Along, and Girls On The Side. The play also stars Penelope Spencer and Mark Nottingham.

After its March 1 premiere, Fantastic Friday will be reprised on March 2, at 8.30 pm, with a 6.30 pm matinee scheduled for March 3.
