Chinese group mesmerise patrons at Queen’s Hall
Members of the Zhejiang Opera Troupe put on back to back performances at Queen’s Hall, St Ann’s, last Thursday and Friday, to showcase the talent of the group in song, dance and drama in a programme sponsored by the Ministry of the Arts and Multiculturalism, in collaboration with the Chinese Embassy.
Patrons were mesmerised at the precision of the artiste who mixed skills with laughter which was clearly heard especially from the children who were attendance. While the announcements and diction were all in Chinese, those who attended may not have understood what was going on but were impressed by the high standards displayed.
