The cast which won much acclaim in last year's theatrical event Hott Mouth Granny is back with what has all the makings of another blockbuster comedy.
In starring roles are Nikki Crosby as Hottmouth Granny and Saucy Shakira; Penelope Spencer as Angry Woman No 1, Cecilia Salazar as Mammala Persad, Debra Boucaud Mason as Mother Sena; Conrad Parris as Keeth Growley and Jack Brawner; and Kevon Brooks as Teacher Percy.
Talk Yuh Talk, Trini Life, Love, Lies & Lock premieres on May 9, at Central Bank Auditorium, Port-of-Spain.
Written and directed by Penelope Spencer, the play runs at the same venue nightly, until May 12.
The production brief said, "Talk Yuh Talk explores everything that is Trini life, from the political to social and even the sexual. You would discover why Jack Brawner was pushed to go his own spiritual advisor and just what happens when Opposition and Government square off in a heated debate, even Hottmouth Granny putting in her two cents worth in the bacchanal." All the pieces are new and promise to provide an evening of non-stop laughter.
On Mother's Day, May 12, there are specially priced tickets. For further information call 338-6024.
Tickets can be purchased at Central Bank Auditorium Box Office (623-0845) from May 7, between noon and 6pm daily.
