Today marks the halfway point in the 2013 European Film Festival.
So far, all the films have been screened at MovieTowne, but from tomorrow, Tobago film fans get a chance to see some of the best European films of recent years.
The delightful British comedy Cheerful Weather for the Wedding is one of the highlights in today's schedule. In this Donald Rice directed movie, there are lots of laughs as Dolly's wedding plans are put in danger with the arrival of her ex-lover Joseph.
The festival continues until May 28 at MovieTowne, Port-of-Spain and runs from tomorrow until May 28 at MovieTowne Tobago.
The EFF is an annual showcase of films from the European Union (EU), and is organised by the EU Member States with diplomatic missions in Trinidad and Tobago–France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and the United Kingdom–and the EU Delegation.
For the second year running, the EFF is being presented in association with the T&T Film Festival (ttff).
Tickets are $30, with tickets for children and students in uniform or with student ID priced at $20.
