Neighbours share stage
It was T&T meets Venezuela when the Noble Douglas Dance Company Inc and the Fundación Coreoarte staged the production Vecinos...We Are Neighbours at Queen’s Hall on the weekend.
Vecinos is a cross-cultural collaboration that featured the choreography of Coreoarte’s founder and master of movement, Carlos Orta, as well as Arnaldo Alvarez and Roxane d’Orleans Juste. Patrons were also treated to the best of NDDCI’s diverse repertoire including Allan Balfour’s Red Clay and NDDCI’s 1998 piece Rum and Salvation, choreographed by Noble Douglas and Reggie Wilson.
Photographer Darren Rampersad was at Queen’s Hall to capture the action over the weekend.
