The biggest soca parang and parang event of the season comes off on Saturday, at 7.30 pm, when the Kings of Soca Parang comes to the Arima Velodrome. This event also features the International Food Festival.Offering not only favourite Christmas dishes, but also delectable delights from the world over prepared by top cooks and chefs throughout the night.Produced by Randy Glasgow Productions, the Kings of Soca Parang will feature among other acts Baron, Scrunter and Kenny J who will have an exciting showdown on the night. Also on stage will be the iconic originator of the soca parang genre, Crazy. There will also be performances by Ninja, Ronoman, Myron B, Impulse, Bindley B and Marcia Miranda.
Live music will be provided by Joey Rivers and the Parang & Soca Orchestra. Sabor will also perform as will Spanish dancers and Arabian belly dancers. As for the food festival there will be more than 25 booths featuring cuisine from around the world.Patrons will also have all the space they want to dance the night away.
