Tomorrow, De Nu Pub (The Mas Camp) in Woodbrook will be the venue when Victorias and the Good Men Crew host their long-awaited annual Christmas party–Dancing like it's Christmas Morning.Victorias and the Good Men Crew have become known for hosting some of the most awesome theme parties in the Port-of-Spain area. On this occasion they will be inviting patrons to wear or mix and match their favourite Christmas colours.Patrons can wear red, white or green and can combine these colours to get the desired Christmas effect. The musical selections as usual, will be hit after hit as two of Victorias choice DJs–Special Delivery and Sensational Noel–keep the party vibes alive with some of the best party songs available for this special occasion.
Soca parang music, back in times and some of the most recent party hits will be played by the DJs. Other types of dance music such as Latin, soca, chutney, contemporary and calypso will be played as the action unfolds.
On Sunday, from 3 pm, the Events Committee of the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), Port-of-Spain, will hold its third annual Christmas party for underprivileged children from homes and communities.A number of artistes have pledged their support by performing and amongst them are Bunji Garlin, H2O Phlo, Kes the Band, Muhammed Muwakil and Neval Chatelal.Pan Trinbago has had a bumper year, hosting several shows and events nationwide.The organisation will host its annual Christmas Appreciation Dinner and Party next Friday, at the VIP Lounge, in the Grand Stand of the Queen's Park Savannah, Port-of-Spain.
The following evening, December 14, Pan Trinbago will culminate this year's Pan in D Countryside. The event is being held in collaboration with the Siparia Regional Corporation and takes place at Subnaik Park, Santa Flora, at 5 pm.Billing for this finale includes NLCB Fonclaire, Diatonic Pan Steel Orchestra, Fyzabad 4th Dimension, Curepe Polyphonics Steel Orchestra, San City Symphony, Sweetness Serenaders Parang Group and DJ KC Klass Is Class.Admission is free and patrons are reminded to walk with their coolers. A maxi shuttle, at $125 per head, will depart Pan Trinbago's head office, Victoria Square North, on Park Street, at 2 pm.
