Indian singer Vineet Singh, the voice behind classic hits like Tirat Meri Tu and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom will be the special guest for Everybody Loves Raymond, a concert featuring the 2013 Chutney Soca Monarch and lead singer of the Dil-e-Nadan, Raymond Ramnarine on Saturday at the Centre of Excellence, Macoya.
After a hectic Carnival season that saw Ramnarine and his band featured at popular all-inclusive fetes like UWI, Bishops and Soca in Moka, Ramnarine is switching gears to present a traditional yet exciting concert for his many fans.
Singh, a Bollywood playback singer has sung in many Bollywood movies including Policegiri, Son Of Sardar, Milenge Milenge, and Khiladi 786.
The song Hookar Bar from the movie Khiladi 786 was considered the youth anthem for 2013. The 24-year-old Singh was the runner-up in popular Indian reality show Sa Re Ga Mapa in 2005.
Singh joins a list of famous guests to the annual concert. In the past, Zubeen, Monali Thakur, Ash King, Raghav and Kamal Khan have been guests.
Everybody Loves Raymond, which is sponsored by the Guardian Group starts at 8 pm.
