Ten Strings and Golden Eagle will be hosting the Final Generation Concert Series on April 1920, at Sapa in San Fernando.
Ten Strings is an organisation for social entrepreneurship and community development, focused on reaching the youth. It supports local children's charities, anti-crime and religious civic initiatives. Golden Eagle provides youth with access to social activities and events which include reputable excursions, sporting events, dinners and outreach programmes, in positive, clean, fun and healthy environments.
A release said the two organisations teamed up to hold an initiative in the form of a collection drive, launched at the end of January. Barrels were placed in grocery stores and supermarkets around the country, for members of the community to donate food items and toiletries to those in need.
All items collected through this initiative will benefit the children of the Raffa House and Casa de Corazon, prisoners (through the New Hope Prison Ministry) and less fortunate families.
On the 27th of every month the foodstuff and toiletries collected will be distributed to the beneficiary organisation and families.
The April concert promises to be like no other, as the best and most influential SDA singers and musicians of the past two generations will grace one stage for two nights of praise and musical genius.
