A necessary dose of curry and comedy
Necessary Arts, the creative and entertainment theatre school, will be hosting another fundraising event entitled Comedy and Curry today at 33 Murray Street, Woodbrook.
The school which has as its motto Motivating Minds with Artistic Expressions, will be hosting this event to raise funds to offset the cost of putting on their upcoming theatrical production.
A release from Necessary Arts promised patrons an enjoyable day of food and laughter. First, there will be a curry que from 11 am to 3 pm and a comedy show from 4 pm to 6 pm.
The comedy show is free to the public features members of Necessary Arts Entertainment Company and will include pieces from Learie Joesph, Godfrey Sealy and Penelope Spencer.
Necessary Arts has as its artistic directors Naima Thompson, Lydia Ledgerwood and Penelope Spencer.
