Looks like Shah Rukh Khan is not the only one who recently signed-up for some online partnering. Parineeti Chopra debuted her very first Instagram account on Wednesday for her birthday with the help of Fluence, a popular online celebrity network.
"Finally getting onto Instagram. Too excited! Follow me on parineetichopra," the starlet said.
"Birthdays are about doing something fun and interesting. This year I've decided to join Instagram, something I've been contemplating for a while now. To add to the fun, I've thrown in a selfie challenge for all my fans with a little help from Fluence! I can't wait to see their response. Now that I'm on Insta, I'm sure it's going to be fun," she said.
And follow they did! In a matter of a few hours, Chopra had more than 104,500 followers!
Apparently what they intend to do is to get all her fans to do selfies which will make up a collage which will be her first Instagram photo. Fluence's Ashish Joshi is excited to have launched the good-humoured actress and thinks that the Insta-activity will surely boost her fan engagement.
She called on all her fans to be a part of the fun by using #parineetichopra with their best selfie. (Think any Trinbagonians made the cut?)
Another famous face was not in such high spirits last Wednesday.
Priyanka Chopra had to cancel her Divali plans because of conjunctivitis. She also cancelled her current shoot for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani to recover. #BollyTalks first heard of it via Twitter: "What a downer! Shoot cancelled! Diwali cancelled! Instead I sit in bed with conjunctivitis!!! Aaaargh! I could kill someone!," tweeted Priyanka.
She even shared a photo of her eye saying "Lol don't look!" Nice one, Priyanka, we looked, and wished we didn't. We hope she has a speedy recovery! In the meantime, I am sure she won't be hard-pressed to find someone to save her some treats!
