For Krista Clarke and Tenille Clarke (no relation) 20 years of friendship and a shared passion for creating unique events blossomed into a beautiful business relationship. The relationship has resulted in The Oasis, a luxurious Carnival rest stop that offers masqueraders and non-masqueraders a much-needed respite from the sun and bacchanal of the road.

During the years of her teaching career, she taught at La Puerta Government Primary School for over 20 years and subsequently taught English at the Diego Martin Central Secondary for five years.

Adanna DeLeon learnt to crochet when she was two years old just by watching her grandmother teach her mom. With her natural talent, she made dolls for sale at age 13. She became more interested in applying her crocheting skills to clothing and, a year later, made her first swimwear using nylon fabric. Not happy with nylon, she switched to wool/acrylic yarn.
