ANTHEM OF A DREAM

She bleeds.
She hungers for that feeling;
That feeling in her soul
When he was there.
He captured her heart
And broke her walls.
He showed her how to live
And she trusted him.
She wants to destroy him.
She wants him to die.
But in the end,
He survives.
Does he know?
Does he know what he's created?
A heartless 'demoness'
With not a shred of feeling.
She wants to see him burn
Although it pains her heart.
She wants to show the world
Love is but a fantasy.
THE CHILD MY PARENTS WANT

I disappoint her in every way,
And that should not be the price she has to pay.
Tears in her eyes I see everyday,
I hope and pray that I can change
my attitude in a positive way.
You made me special,
Just one of a kind
And chose my parents who are wonderfully designed.
They are loving and caring,
So wonderful and daring
To carry me through years, to watch me blossom
Like a flower in the sun
So that I can be the child that my parents want.
THIS LAST BREATH I SHALL TAKE
Samantha Ariel Ramnarine

The ship has sunken,
There are no survivors to remain,
For all was forsaken by air,
My last breath I shall take,
But not closing my eyes,
Suicidal that will be,
Thoughts of my life streamed into my head,
Of the things I've done, with the impressions I've made,
The scourging pain of regret,
The forgiveness of one's heart I shall not know.
This last breath I shall take,
Is to ask for the forgiveness of others,
And renew my life for God's path,
For the eternal life I shall have is with him,
In his shielding arms of protection,
Although the book of my life wasn't written properly,
Due to my pen.
My eyes begged to press to each other,
Because my time was finally drifting upon me,
And the peacefulness of which I cannot explain,
My eyes shut and let loose of this world,
And an arm stretch in a bright burst of light,
Then I knew that heaven's gates were opened to me,
And all I could hear was," Holy, Holy praise the Lord of Holy."
