Once again, The Libero brings to you the analy­sis of the Sec­ondary Schools Foot­ball League, thus far, for the sea­son. You have all been at­tend­ing games and sup­port­ing your teams but lets us now see where the teams stand in their re­spec­tive zones.

South Zone

Pre­sen­ta­tion Col­lege San Fer­nan­do con­tin­ues to dom­i­nate this zone with six wins from their six games. Strik­er, Shack­iel Hen­ry con­tin­ues to car­ry his squad to vic­to­ry with their most re­cent win against Pleas­antville Sec­ondary (1-0) at the Man­nie Ramjohn Sta­di­um, Mara­bel­la. Hen­ry is the high­est goal scor­er in the south zone with 10 goals thus far. Shi­va Boys' and St Bene­dict's had noth­ing less of an ac­tion packed game with cards be­ing hand­ed out like presents at Christ­mas. This en­counter saw goals com­ing from Que­si We­st­on from Shi­va Boys' and Jameel Boatswain from St Bene­dict's. Both We­st­on and Boatswain were even­tu­al­ly sent off in the game.

North Zone

In the North zone, Fa­ti­ma Col­lege de­feat­ed Trin­i­ty Col­lege 5-0 with goals com­ing from five dif­fer­ent goal scor­ers - (Arvin Prescod, Jamil Young, Le­land Archer, Seon Thomas and Ja­son Mendez). Zon­al leader St. An­tho­ny's Col­lege was on a bye. St. Mary's Col­lege and QRC were held to a two-all draw. East Mu­cu­rapo got the bet­ter of Diego Mar­tin five goals to two. For East Mu­cu­rapo goals came from Aaqil Camp­bell, Tarafi Williams and Caleb Sturge.

Cen­tral Zone

Cara­pichaima East play­ers were fi­nal­ly de­feat­ed at the hands of Ch­agua­nas North by a two-nil mar­gin. Cou­va West Sec­ondary's Jaf­fet Williams was the school's lone goal scor­er in their en­counter against Pre­sen­ta­tion. They were suc­cess­ful in this game. Tabaquite Com­pos­ite and Gas­par­il­lo Com­pos­ite were held to a one all draw in the fi­nal Cen­tral Zone en­counter.

East Zone

Ari­ma North Sec­ondary and El Do­ra­do fin­ished with a 4-3 score line with Ari­ma com­ing out on top. Trin­i­ty whipped To­co Com­pos­ite 6-1. An­tonie Au­guste, Shaquille An­tho­ny, Tariq John, Jemel Sem­pel and Ak­il Mod­este scored for Trin­i­ty and the lone goal for To­co came from Shaquille Ed­wards.

To­ba­go

Fi­nal­ly, in To­ba­go, Spey­side got the bet­ter of Sig­nal Hill two goals to one. Shaquille Scott, Bran­don Ben­jamin and Raphael Thomas all found the back of the net in that game.
