Seeing that the Nicki Minaj fiasco is still in the air, I wish to ask questions that commentators are ignoring.
If it is that expletives were used during her performance, why did the police not act? Were they afraid?
The matches in the Digicel Cup scheduled for the venue were shifted and no one said boo, not even the T&T Football Federation. Was it afraid?
What I find distressing is the man at the centre of this controversy used to rant and rave on a radio station about accountability, transparency, good governance, and moral values; yet he finds himself in this storm. When he apologised in Parliament recently, the loud-mouth looked like a mouse.
