Are we a sovereign nation, or a bunch of colonialists in a British outpost? I think we are the latter. How could a British minister come into our country and bump his gum on crime and the death penalty, like crime doesn't happen in Britain. What he didn't say is that there are those in Britain who want to see a return of the death penalty.
I think foreigners, especially top officials, coming into this country should watch their words. It's time we call a halt to this nonsense or, if not, declare T&T a ward of the British and let's revert to colonialism. Not even a dissenting voice has been heard so far saying "prunes." All I could say is that we look for that!
