Daren Gan­ga has reached the pin­na­cle of suc­cess in the world of crick­et. The in­jury that be­set him pri­or to the fi­nals of the Caribbean T20 tour­na­ment should have been an ex­cel­lent ex­it for him from in­ter­na­tion­al crick­et. Gan­ga can­not earn a place on the West In­dies team and as a bats­man it would be dif­fi­cult to jus­ti­fy his se­lec­tion on the T&T XI.

De­nesh Ramdin has ex­celled as an un­der-19 cap­tain and has the abil­i­ty to es­tab­lish him­self in the West In­di­an team if he re­gains self-es­teem and stops cut­ting near the off-stump (play it straight or through ex­tra cov­er off the back foot).
