It was shocking to see the behaviour of some female students of a prestige school in San Fernando a few days ago. I was in a food court in a plaza at the top of High Street when I observed these students carrying on in a most raucous way. Their language was disgusting, their body language was vulgar, and they had no pride in their school uniform. This "big shot" school, located at the top of a steep hill, is at the top of the scholarship list every year and the school uniform is well known and easily recognisable but the deportment of these future professionals, mothers, and scholarshp winners was frightful and shameful.
I looked around to see if there were any police officers but there were none. It may not have made any difference anyway because I doubt any police officer would have warned these young women to behave in public. Shame, shame, shame on these female students of this school on La Pique Hill. I doubt their "big shot" parents know how their little darlings were carrying on on Valentine's Day.
