I bought a BLU cellphone on February 5 from a TSTT dealer, and since that time I have been having problems with this made-in-China phone. I wrote TSTT about the problem(s), threatening to exercise my legal option as I have a one-year warranty. I have been to the outlet twice and the head office of the dealer with no relief in sight. I have been kicked around with consumer indifference, and I hold TSTT liable. It is TSTT which gave the dealer the bmobile dealership. Apparently, TSTT doesn't care to check on this dealer and is so busy marketing the bmobile brand that the consumer plays second fiddle. Even a long-standing customer like myself.
I intend to use all legal channels to solve this simple $250 problem, while mounting a placard protest at the bmobile outlet on Independence Square, Port-of-Spain, every day-morning, lunchtime and evening.
I can't understand why such a simple problem should be so difficult. I am calling on all sufferers of consumer indifference to join me. I have been extremely patient.
I want to thank Cadine Sealy of TSTT's Consumer Affair Unit, who has been sympathetic and very helpful but there is not much she can do.
