I would like to know if the Calypso Monarch contestants are adhering to the rules of the competition, especially the one that states that each contestant must sing "a minimum of three verses and a maximum of four."My question is: if an artiste sings two verses then repeats one of them, does that mean he has sung three legitimate verses?Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that one of the finalists for Sunday's competition, who has a very popular song, did exactly that at the semi-finals at Skinner Park on Saturday. Are the judges really using the rules and scoring accordingly or are they selecting finalists based on popularity of the artist or song?
