Per­mit me to wal­low in my mis­ery over West In­dies crick­et, and the sad sto­ry it has be­come. Long ago no World XI was com­plete with­out a hand­ful of West In­di­ans, be it in bat­ting or bowl­ing. The ICC World Cup XI has just been named and not a West In­di­an crick­eter has made the grade. What a shame! Not even as a 12th man. West In­dies crick­et has now en­tered the pig sty. It's in a mess and smelly. You mean to say we can't even car­ry the tow­el, or drinks, on a World XI? I feel to cry.
